Goth Munch (21+) - Dec 28

What & Why

To meet other kink-minded or kink-curious Goth humans. The primary goal of this munch is to socialize and meet people. You can safely assume these people are at least a little bit kinky, so you don't need to bring up those conversations -- Just come say hi to spooky humans and enjoy the venue space

Venue

The Mercury is a long-standing, volunteer-ran goth club in Seattle. It is located underneath the Union gay bar (Alley entrance, the door is all the way down the alley at the back right). 4th Sundays are the Gothic Lounge nights. Volume is lowered, nothing too bass-heavy (see FAQs for air quality info)

Costs

While most munches are free because it's a Restaurant or Bar, this Venue charges non-members $5 to get in. Members get in free. You do not need to be guested in -- Sundays are not Member Nights

How to find us

We'll meet either in the row of seats farthest from the dance floor, or in the side room where the pool table is. Generally, if you are confused, asking someone "Are you here for the munch" is a lightweight way to find out. The Mercury, in specific, is an extremely safe space to ask this question

FAQs

1. Age requirements? It's 21+
2. ADA Accessible? Yes. The entrance from the curb has a down slope that may be difficult for those in non-electric wheelchairs or those with a cane (etc). Please DM a host to get more info and to setup assistance for when you arrive and depart, if needed.
3. COVID Risks? The building is indoors, well-ventilated but you will effectively be close to those you talk to due to the (albeit lowered) songs being played. Masks and Sanitizer will be available. Read about filtration and ventilation info
4. Other goth munches? Yes, there are. Mine run every month (see you there). There is also another goth munch that runs in Seattle and I cannot stress enough about not going to that one alone. See my other goth munches here
